Giving Back: Our Commitment to Doing What’s Right
In the spirit of giving back and supporting families in need, we are working towards launching our new initiative—the “Do What’s Right” Program. Through this program, Intelligent Service plans to give away 1 free furnace and 1 free air conditioning system each year to deserving individuals or families in our local community.
While this program is still in development, our goal is simple: to provide comfort and peace of mind to those facing financial hardships, unexpected life challenges, or health concerns. Heating and cooling are essential for safe, comfortable living in Chicago’s unpredictable weather, and no family should have to go without them.
As a company built on integrity and treating customers like family, giving back has always been part of who we are. Our founder, Bob Kerr, and now his son Jason Kerr, have always believed in doing what’s right—even when no one is watching. This mindset drives our commitment to safety, fair pricing, and honest service.
The “Do What’s Right” Program reflects this mission. By offering critical HVAC equipment free of charge to those who need it most, we hope to create meaningful change and ease burdens for hardworking families throughout the Chicago area.

At 3:00 in the morning my sump pump inverter started kicking on continuously, and I called they had a 24-hour hotline available. Edgar from Intelligent Service was the best plumber I've ever had. He was kind, courteous, and a great problem solver. As with most repair jobs, once you open that wall, a million unexpected things go wrong.
